Although more than a year has passed since this conference took place, I feel it is well worth sharing with those who did not have the opportunity to attend or watch it.
In April 2025, the 1st European Conference on the Pedagogy of Loss and Grief brought together scholars and practitioners to explore an emerging field dedicated to education about loss, grief, and death. As the first conference of its kind in Europe, it marked an important milestone in fostering dialogue, collaboration, and research in this area.
It was a great honour for me to participate as an invited speaker and to exchange ideas with distinguished colleagues from different countries and disciplines. The themes discussed remain just as relevant today, highlighting the growing importance of integrating education about loss and grief into schools, universities, healthcare, and the wider community.
The recorded presentations are now available, and I am delighted to share them with you. I hope they will inspire reflection, meaningful conversations, and further collaboration in this important field.
