DESCRIPTION:As one of the keynote speakers at the 1st International Congress on the Pedagogy of Death and Educational Development\, I am honored to present my address titled “Empowering Teachers to Navigate Death Education in the Classroom – Addressing Challenges and Exploring Opportunities.” In my speech\, I will delve into the pivotal role educators play in guiding students through the complex topics of grief\, loss\, and death. I will discuss the challenges teachers often encounter\, such as emotional preparedness\, resource limitations\, and the sensitivity required when addressing these subjects. Emphasizing the necessity for comprehensive training and support\, I will explore innovative strategies for integrating death education into curricula.
